Recently, many of us were questioned, surprised and confused by the verdict of the UK Supreme Court that Shamima Begum, known as the “ISIS bride” will not be permitted to enter the territory of UK. People had differing views. Some in the Western world who do not have a deep idea of what Islamist radicalism is, said that she must be given a “chance”. But many supported the court’s decision and said we must not allow someone who in-fact decided to do violence against the same people, and not just the people but the values and morals of the very country where she was given all one desires. So, who is Shamima Begum and what did she do? Let us find out.
Shamima (now 21) along with her two schoolfriends left Bethnal Green (East London) in February 2015 for Turkey to join IS (or ISIS as known earlier) in Syria. When she left she was 15. She was born in UK though has Bangladeshi origin. After reaching Syria and joining IS, she married a Jihadi from Holland- Yago Reidijk, a convert. For some years she lived in IS territory. But unfortunately she lost her three children due to illness there. When she was in camp interviewed by journalists, she was expecting third baby and he too died soon. She had left IS after IS was almost defeated and took refuge in a camp in Syria. The camps there are not in good condition. These are full of dirt, chaos and illness. She then requested the UK government to allow her into UK for trial not in the camp. But soon her citizenship was revoked and was banned from entering Britain. But what is shocking in her story is what she revealed in her interviews to various media organisations in February 2019. Let us take a look on her personality by reviewing her interviews.
In her interviews given to The Times, BBC, and Sky News she revealed many shocking things about how she perceive all this. When she was asked about her life in Raqqa; she said life in Raqqa was “normal”. One day she found a beheaded head in a bin which didn’t “FAZE” her. I wonder how some Britishers are saying that she should be allowed to enter the country when she is saying all this herself! And we can only pity the foolish innocence of Europe in what she said when asked about her reasons for wanting to come back to Britain. She said she had lost two of her children and now she didn’t want to lose the third one and for his well being she wanted to come back and that she knew that in Britain her child WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF!! I mean such Jihadis are mocking the entire political system of the European countries! They live here, eat here, study here, go to their mosques freely, no law here asks them not to follow Islam and yet, they join Wahabi terror outfits and attack western people and then want to raise their children again in UK!! They are so sure of western foolishness. Lol.
Many a times people preach how peaceful Islam is or how terrorists do not represent any religion. I can only laugh at such politically correct views. But I do not need public approval or minority appeasement. My blogs, my views are based on facts and no one can stop me from spreading the truth. Shamima like all other brainwashed people, deeply hated the Kaafirs or non Muslims. When asked why she was shocked over her two children’s death whereas a beheaded head of a captive didn’t “faze” her, she replied that they (the IS people) believe that non Muslims deserve such treatment not the Muslims! Look at how cleverly she use “they”, “them”, “Dawlah” (IS) when she is asked about “her” views! When asked about the Manchester Suicide Bombing in 2017 in which 23 people died, she nodded yes that was wrong but so were the attacks on IS women and children by the forces! It’s all retaliation she said! She revealed she was becoming religious just before she decided to come to Syria. The role of religion still vanishes in people’s discussions. She herself said that she knew how IS beheads and brutally kill people before coming to Syria yet she came because what they were doing was Islamic!
In-fact she said she didn’t regret joining Dawlah (IS). She said may be it was a mistake but life in IS made her stronger, tougher and it “changed” her a lot. And that she would never feel what she felt there but due to harder situation later she had to leave IS. Shockingly and unfortunately she also said- “I HAD A GOOD TIME THERE”. But now she said she did’t want to lose her third child and for him ONLY she left IS and for him only she wants to go back to UK! Funny isn’t it? Yet she hoped for sympathy from the people of UK and she even asked security agencies to prove that she was a THREAT to UK!! She said IS got corrupted later and it doesn’t deserve victory yet she had a good time there!
In the end the European countries must recheck their humanitarian policies in accepting such extremists and their extremism into their societies. Europe must stop Wahhabism from killing anymore Europeans. Check the building of mosques, support moderate Islam and ban Wahhabism as soon as they can. Let us hope safer life for Europeans and a barrier to extremist and dangerous people like Shamima Begum.
